About Us

The founders of DFW’s FurGotten Friends have been rescuing dogs for many years using their own funds to get the dogs vetted and adopted. As of September 10th, 2012 DFW’s FurGotten Friend’s has become an official non-profit rescue in Dallas, Texas.

Tens of thousands of dogs are put to sleep or die on the streets of Dallas every year and we are here to make a difference in the lives of the dogs to follow. Through our efforts, we hope to get as many forgotten dogs off the streets as possible and show them that the world has not turned its back on them. We are a non-profit, so we operate through donations and fundraisers with the help of volunteers and private citizens of Dallas who truly care about the forgotten dogs out there.
